The Washington Wizards had their biggest win of the season in a 111-103 victory over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden to exact a small bit of revenge for the latter knocking the former out of the playoffs seven months go in Game 7.
John Wall had an efficient game despite just 8 of 19 shooting from the field with 21 points and 14 assists, which accounted for 53 of his team's points (48 percent). He also accounted for 21 of his team's final 24 points to overcome a 95-90 deficit with less than six minutes to play.
Bradley Beal missed all six of his three-point attempts, an anomaly that kept the Celtics in the game, but still finished with a game-high 25 points to go along with 8 rebounds.
Otto Porter Jr. had 20 points on an efficient 7 of 10 shooting and had half of the team's 6 three-pointers. He also had 6 rebounds, one of which was the game-clinching offensive rebound.
Kelly Oubre Jr. was the lone bright spot off the bench with 16 of the unit's 20 points. Despite a few mental lapses, he had plenty of flashes on his way to totaling 16 points and 5 rebounds, including 7 big fourth quarter points.
Marcin Gortat had a relatively quiet day with 11 points and 10 rebounds, but when he was on the court, he was huge. He played some great defense even in mismatch situations and should get some love.
