Managing Director and Editor-in-chief for Hoop District covering the Wizards. Neil grew up in Silver Spring, MD, graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park. Neil previously covered the Wizards for District Sports Page and is looking forward to bring his in-person coverage to each of the loyal Hoop District followers.

The 2014-2015 Washington Wizards... Call me a millennial, but I'll go with the 2014-15 team that was a John Wall broken wrist away from the Eastern Conference Finals. Paul Pierce was a treat to cover and that was the year they told the NBA they were officially back.
Hoop District (HD) covers the basketball Wizards of Washington, NBA events and hoops in the DC/Metro area. Each year we put together a team of basketball aficionados to provide our community with original articles, live game photography, and video.
Hoop District was created in 2006 by Matt and Asad Naqvi as a message board for Wizards fans to sound off. Since 2008 we’ve covered the Wizards, the NBA Draft, NBA Summer League, NBA All-Star Weekend, USA Olympics, WNBA and the Goodman League with full media credentials.
