Knicks (0-1) at Wizards (1-0)

Capital One Arena | Washington, DC
Television: NBC Washington (formerly CSN)
What to Watch:
John Wall's Preseason Debut
After sitting out the first preseason game for rest, it’s likely we’ll get to see DC’s point guard in tonight’s game. Even though he might not get the minutes he gets for regular season games, it’ll be nice seeing Wall out on the court again. Last time DC fans saw him in person, he hit arguably the biggest shot in franchise history to force a Game 7. It’ll be exciting to see what he can do this season.
Key Matchup:
Marcin Gortat vs. Kristaps Porzingis
Kristaps Porzingis is one bright spot on a new Knicks team without Carmelo Anthony. The now third-year center average 18.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Marcin Gortat had 10.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Gortat will need to use his big frame to pull down some big boards.
X-Factor:
Chemistry
There is no telling what the Knicks chemistry is after the Melo exit but on the Wizards side of things, everyone enjoys playing together. Now they have some preseason games to use so they can gel like they did last season.
Fun Factor:
Crowd
There’s no telling whether there will be more Knicks fans or Wizards fans at the game tonight. No matter what though, expect one crowd to try to out cheer the other which makes for a fun atmosphere for the preseason.
Prediction:
The Wizards beat the Knicks by 15.
