The Wizards, already riding high from beating the Warriors the night before, showed that they’re back to the team we all know and love with a 105-96 win over the Raptors. Back to back wins, cue Drake.

Bojan fitting in.
The newest Wizard, Bojan Bogdanovic dropped 27 points to lead the Wizards as he went 9 of 12 shooting including 6 of 7 from three-point land. Scoring 16 points in the Warriors game, and 15 against the Jazz on Sunday, this was his best night as a Wizards and his presence on the bench has made fellow reserves look much better. More on the bench in this next bullet point.
Where did this bench come from?
The Wizards reserves helped contribute to a 26-1 run in the second quarter that broke the game open. I should also note these stats came BEFORE newly acquired Brandon Jennings has suited up in the red, white, and blue. Jennings will make his debut this Friday night against this same Raptors team. The bench also scored 22 straight points before the half to extend their lead at the time to 23 points. In addition to Bogdanovic’s 27 points, Jason Smith added eight points and five rebounds while Kelly Oubre scored seven points.

The Wizards shared the ball very similarly to my high school basketball team that won back-to-back state titles (shoutout Potomac Falls). Everybody got good looks, especially early on in the game. Every player also touched the ball, or got their head crushed by the ball. See below:
While Bojan was the beast from the bench with 27, the DC big three of John Wall (12 points, 13 assists), Bradley Beal (23 points), and Marcin Gortat (12 points, eight rebounds) scored in double figures. The #WallStar also had his 39th double-double.
